My Travels

In this document I will log the all locations and significant events of my journeys that do not specifically relate to Soriel Daw. In keeping track of these I may more readily be able to find connections between places he has been sighted.

Adderwain
Adderwain is a small town not far from the Togric Canyon. Surrounded on almost all sides by forests, Adderwain is established by hunting and is almost entirely self-providing. With about two hundred people in the town, it is slightly larger than your average village. It is not made up of any tribe in particular but rather people who have slowly accumulated here over time. All of the town is set on a cross, one street going north and south and another east to west. Everything is on this main road. When I say main road, I'm referring only to the dusty compact ground which serves at the most stable path for animal and other types of transport. The east to west road carries all of the shops. From there houses strew the streets to the north and south. In town you can find a general store, a mortuary, a simple crafts shop, a den of healers and a simple inn. Most surprising is that you cannot find a tavern, which may explain the general drunkenness in the streets. Often the town feels more like a ghost town as people can be out for days or even weeks hunting. As a natural side effect of their main craft, Adderwain's primary export is that of sheep skin and clothes. An occupation which many of the ladies have taken up in their own homes. Children do not play here, rather they spend their time learning the craft of drunkenness and huntsman-ship. All of the buildings are made out of a ruff wood and in fact look less valuable than the weapons the huntsmen carry. Overall a rather unsplendid place.
